Today we have Dr. Tracy Gapin on the show. Dr. Tracy has been working for over five years in the fields of functional medicine and men’s health by helping high-achieving men truly access all of their energy, clarity, and power, and better serve their businesses, workplaces, and their families. Today we are going to talk about the many myths behind men’s health and health in general that keep many people held back in their health and in many areas of their life that lead to burnout. We will also talk about how he changes their perspective and gives them a plan that is personalized to them to truly become the best version of themselves.

- [16:24] Insurance and medical care are so expensive yet they are doing nothing to actually really promote health. It is all about taking care of acute situations.
- [17:06] Another big myth is that it is simply diet and exercise. It is important to recognize that there is no perfect diet. Genetics helps us understand what is right for our bodies.
- [18:24] Another misconception is that sleep is not important. Sleep is the most underappreciated aspect of health. Sleep drives everything.
- [20:00] The misconception is that testosterone is going to transform your health and testosterone is the answer. You can’t look at just testosterone.
- [20:42] The key is to understand that we need to put all these pieces together instead of simplifying them down to one magic thing.
- [23:27] As Dr. Tracy has honed and developed his approach over the last five years now, he has found more practitioners wanting to do what he is doing. He has created a licensing program where other practitioners can incorporate his approach into their practice.
