On today’s episode, we have Kevin Kwan. Kevin is a friend of mine that spoke at my event at the High Ticket Wellness Summit a couple of months back and I have been blown away by the excellent content he is creating. He is a master on Facebook in particular. He has been an excellent person to get to know, see how he is serving people, and how she is developing people. He is an expert in sales and creating great written content.
I wanted to invite him onto the podcast to share something that is near and dear to my heart. It is a simple and powerful framework that you can use to create content on social media that is going to be driving conversations and engagement that will be getting you more clients. If you can keep at this formula then you are going to be consistently attracting the right clients.
We discuss:
- [02:49] Kevin shares his defining moment.
- [04:20] He had a work harder mentality that was actually working against him in his business and life. He realized it wasn’t working for him.
- [06:25] He shares how one of the worst moments of his life was actually one of the most beautiful things that could happen to him.
- [07:02] Having a system allowed Kevin to have the flexibility to do things in the middle of the day and help others.
- [08:11] The old myth of working harder is not a sustainable strategy. All we need is a simple and predictable system that can get results.
- [08:29] The biggest gap between you and your customers is not working more, spending more, or stressing more. It is a simple system that allows people to get to know you better at scale with better content.
- [11:01] It is a simple framework that allows you to speak to five different groups of audiences inside your Facebook group or following on social or even on your email list.
- [12:04] It is important to own your program and have certainty in yourself that you are the expert. Owning yourself creates an energy of attraction.
- [14:01] There are five different audiences inside your Facebook group and email list.
- [16:24] Our goal is to move people from the bottom of the triangle to the top.
- [19:34] Week one would be an offer week so they would write anything from problem-aware to you-aware. Week two is a nurture week. Then we continue to rotate offer week and nurture week.
- [21:41] How far ahead you plan your content calendar depends on the person. Plan out all your offers first on your calendar. Your content is leading to your offer.
- [24:12] We want to shift those beliefs to it is not x, it is y.
- [26:25] You have to know who you are connecting to. First they do an avatar and offer dive and then they take what they found to create a content grid.
- [27:58] One of the biggest struggles coaches have is this emotional writer’s block and this framework takes it out of the way but still allows you to be authentic.
- [29:11] Once you master the framework and grid you can cut the time spent on social media tremendously.
- [30:40] In content marketing, most people don’t even have a plan. Create a plan with intention.
- [33:03] One thing that ties this all together and it is learning how to connect with your avatar. If you can connect with them on a level, they feel attracted to you and who you are. People buy because they feel like it. The coach that can connect with their avatar on a deeper level is the one that is going to be more successful.
