About a year ago, I hosted an online event called The High-Ticket Wellness Summit where I interviewed over 40 experts in marketing, sales, coaching, health and wellness, and business and helped high-ticket healers and transformers in health and wellness, marketing, and business get better results with their high-ticket clients.
Today we are going to be talking about creating success every morning with Jimmy Hays. I am a big fan of Jimmy and have gotten to work with him personally on many occasions and he is absolutely brilliant. He is going to give you a few simple steps that you can do every morning to be more successful.
We discuss:
- [01:41] Jimmy has been a high-performance coach for over a decade.
- [02:34] You change the world one morning at a time.
- [03:10] Sometimes a tragedy reveals an opportunity and you find something better in a tragedy if you keep your eyes open.
- [06:01] Many events are going to continue to have a virtual piece going forward.
- [07:56] Jimmy shares how being on stage started all the way back in the first grade.
- [10:07] We know in our gut what we were designed for but what we immediately do is create a list of all the reasons we never could do it.
- [13:02] He knew if something was going to change he had to take responsibility and do something different.
- [13:45] Are you willing to be willing? We have to be open to be willing to do something different.
- [14:46] Success starts in the morning with how we set our intentions for the day.
- [16:15] Get out of the all-or-nothing mentality. Start by implementing one thing tomorrow.
- [17:06] Whatever time you wake up now, wake up 30 minutes earlier. For the first 20-30 minutes our minds are prime to how it is going to set up the rest of our day.
- [18:02] His first step every morning is to watch a motivational video. 10 minutes of good audio or a good book every day.
- [19:55] You can not pour into people from an empty vessel.
- [20:25] It all starts with attacking our minds before our minds attack us.
- [23:28] Your mind is so fertile first thing in the morning. We need to deliberately plant seeds first thing in the morning.
- [24:50] We have so much information at our fingertips. We tend to listen to something once and move on but repetition is key.
- [25:34] If we are willing to revisit something over and over and over again and meditate on it, it can change our lives.
- [28:08] This stuff is hard until it becomes second nature. The second part of his routine is moving his body. He gets inspired and has thoughts during his morning workout and then during his morning workouts he sits down and journals.
- [29:41] Creating habits happens by taking one baby step at a time.
