The Big Fish in a Little Niche
Subscribe To The Podcast
Today we are going to be talking about the big fish in a little niche problem that many coaches and entrepreneurs out there are facing. It is one of those problems that is a little bit invisible.
We discuss:
- [04:19] Many people are so focused on the community that they miss out on an entire world of people. They are surrounded by so many people with similar talents that they start to feel like the value they offer is not very valuable.
- [05:50] Too often people give up on their vision and the world is missing out on their gift.
- [07:19] One of the biggest problems is that people are marketing and promoting their products and services, not to their ideal clients or the people that could benefit most from what they have to offer instead they are focused on the convenient audience.
- [08:02] It is not fine in your case if you are just trying to market and reach people that are speaking the same language and are already on the same level as you.
- [10:07] When we share things that are more personable and relatable on social media more people usually engage with that content.
- [11:16] Many people are offering the same thing in a crowded competitive market and talking about it the same way everybody else is talking about it instead of really defining their uniqueness.
- [11:40] What makes you unique and different is your particular values, stories, your perspective, and also your experience.
- [12:58] If you have been in this big fish in a little niche problem for a while you might be devaluing your products and services because you have been spending so much time marketing to people who are already familiar with this instead of people who would really light you up or benefit from this.
- [14:17] It is not easy to sell high ticket premium products and services. There is never going to be a time when you feel ready to start. You have to take the leap and be bold in claiming your value.
- [15:13] If you are discouraged in your products and services because no one seems to be valuing them and there are so many people around you that seem to be offering all of the same things, you might be experiencing the big fish in a little niche problem.
- [15:56] When we can start to create and feel that value in ourselves then we can start to reorient our messaging and marketing to be aligned with the premium clients that are so ready for the value that you create and they deserve.
